BHS Football
The Ballard Football program wrapped up the 2025 season with a 3-6 record, a year marked by growth, resilience, and commitment to our core values: Fun. Connect. Tough.
Volleyball
Volleyball finished its 2025 season in 3rd in the Metro Mountain Division (11-3 in league play, 13-8 overall). The Beavers opened the Metro Volleyball Tournament Nov. 4 with an exciting 3-2 victory over West Seattle. The team then lost 3-0 to Bishop Blanchet in its second match of the day and was eliminated after a 3-2 loss to Franklin on Nov. 5 at Ballard High School.

Slowpitch Softball
Slowpitch hustled back to the top of the Metro League this season with a 4-1 record (9-5 overall). The Beavers finished third in the Metro Championship and second in the District 2A/3A Tournament. (At Districts, the Beavers scored an epic 43 runs over four games.) The team also celebrated their first trip to State Tournament!
Boys and Girls Golf
The Golf program had a tremendous turnout this season with a full roster of 12 girls and boys on the Varsity squad and over 40 JV participants. The Boys Varsity team recorded 4 wins, 5 loses, and 1 tie in regular match play. The Girls Varsity team recorded 3 wins and 7 loses in regular match play.
Boys and Girls Cross Country (No cut)
Ballard Cross Country ran 95 athletes this fall, one of the largest teams in Metro League. Both Boys and Girls Teams had strong Metro Championship performances, with Girls finishing 4th and Boys finishing 6th.
Girls Soccer
The Girls Soccer program finished an exciting 2025 season filled with growth and competitive play across all three levels. Our Varsity team finished 6-9-1, making an impressive late season push with a thrilling win over Lakeside in the opening round of the 3A Metro Tournament before falling to #1 seed Roosevelt in the quarterfinals.

Girls Swim and Dive
The Girls Swim & Dive team had a fantastic 2025 season. The team stayed 38 strong (35 swimmers, 3 divers) throughout the season and finished with a solid 7-2 record. We had 23 swimmers and 3 divers compete at the Metro League Championships, where the team was also honored by its Metro League competitors with the “2025-26 Metro League Girls Swim & Dive-Team Sportsmanship” award.

Girls Lacrosse Fall Ball
Hello Ballard Girls Laxers! Registration is now open for Jet City Classic on Nov. 22-23 at Marymoor Park! Questions can be sent to amanda.mcgarty@gmail.com. Ballard Boys Lacrosse
Boys Lacrosse Fall Ball Registration Now Open: Register Online. The players are also participating now in strength and conditioning training at Ballard high School from 4-5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Full and partial scholarships are available. Questions?
