  • April 28: BHS plant students are partnering with Nathan Hale horticulture and the Ballard Farmer’s Market group Farmore to put on a pollination extravaganza this Sunday. If you are at the market drop by and see us.
  • Due April 30: Attention all current Grade 10 & 11 students! LINK Crew Leader Applications are open! Teachers have posters with the QR code to apply. Look for email from Ms. Lehni too. If you are a current 11th grader and Link Crew Leader you DO NEED to Reapply. See Mr. Holmgren, Mr. Fort, Mr. Joe, or Ms. Lehni if you have questions. Learn more.
  • Maui 2025: Ever want to snorkel in active reef? Climb a 10,000 ft hot spot volcano?  Ballard is going back to Maui in Feb 2025!  Applications available NOW from Mr. Noam Gundle for this unique educational experience.  Scholarships and service hours available. All due June 3. Mahalo!
  • Do you have any interest in engineering, programming, business or social media management? Come Join Viking robotics! You will have the opportunity to work with professionals in engineering and business fields, so all skill levels are welcome! We meet every Monday and Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. in the woodshop. There’s no better time to join than now. 
  • Looking for Spirit Wear? Check out the student store for all your spirit wear needs, including new Pink Ballard Hoodies!
  • Now – May 15: Order your favorite coffees from Caffe Appassionato and support the BPA Fundraiser. Each bag sold, the BPA student you name will earn $6 toward program fees, camps and trips. Proceeds with no student name will go into the BPA general fund. Funds raised can even be transferred to a younger sibling when a student graduates. Learn More.

ASB Club Call Outs!

  • April 26: Ballard HS Multicultural Union student club’s first Multicultural Night (Ballard HS, Free). “Please join us at the Multicultural Union student club’s first festival in the Ballard HS Commons from 6 – 8 p.m. Multicultural Festival Potluck RSVP Encouraged 
  • Feminist Club has extended their efforts for menstrual product donations through the end of April. The donation box is in the main office and all products will be donated to Seattle T2P2 to help fight period poverty.
  • ! Yapping Club (Podcast). They need Staff and Students stories. Learn more.

Seniors!

  • This Year’s Prom theme is “Night Under the Lights!” The Prom will be held in the Columbia Tower from 8 – 11 on Saturday, June 1. Learn more.
  • May 1: Seniors: Get your forms in! Turn in any PE Waiver Forms, Service Learning Forms
    • Take your PE comp test if needed so we have time to process them and so you stay on track for graduation. See your school counselor if you have any questions. The counselors have drop ins at lunch every day so swing on by.
  • There is still time order (or go to Counseling/borrow one), get in time for graduation! Learn More.

Beaver Gear and Spirit Wear Breakdown

  • Athletic Booster Club (ABC) has Beaver Gear and spirit wear (shorts, baseball tee, bleacher seats, plaid flannels, socks, scarf and hats) on the ABC website with Duffle Bags offered at different times of the school year. Refer to the Spirit Wear updates.
  • The DAM” BHS Student Store run by Advanced Marketing Students in the Activity Center (AC) has great spirit items (t-shirts, hoodies, sunglasses, etc.) Updates on Instagram: @thedambhsstudentstore
  • Performing Arts (BPA) spirit merchandise can be found on the BPA Website and offered at different times of the school year.
  • Athletics! Check with coaches about specific Athletics/Sports Merchandise
