Curriculum Night Recap
Summary : Thanks to all that were able to attend.
Curriculum Night October 2025
Thank You To All That Were Able to Attend!
It was so great to see those of you who were able to attend last night’s Curriculum Night. We hope that the evening provided you with valuable insight into your student’s classes. If you were unable to attend or if you wish to connect further with your student’s teachers, please do not hesitate to reach out! A strong parent/guardian and teacher relationship is a key variable in our shared support of students.
Also, I want to express a sincere thank you to the PTSA and to those of you who have been able to generously support our educators. The PTSA has organized a centralized Amazon “Wish List” of classroom supplies to help stock our classrooms. This is obviously completely optional but if you can support by purchasing an item from the wish list for the school, please know it makes a meaningful difference.
Additionally, I want to invite everyone to join us for the October 16 PTSA event co-sponsored with the BHS admin and counseling teams. This evening will feature a 60-minute interactive presentation that will include an overview of the public health issue of youth suicide, strategies for caregivers to talk to youth who may be in crisis, and opportunities to build intervention skills. UW Forefront Suicide Prevention presents LEARN Saves Lives: Suicide Prevention Training for Parents and Caregivers on October 16, 6:45-8 p.m. in the Ballard HS Library. ~ Principal Hunt
Families please print an Agenda and have your student complete before Curriculum Night (blank copies will also be available in the office) Hope to see you there!
