- Feb. 9: Girls Basketball hosts Ingraham (most likely opponent based on current standings) 7 p.m. (loser out, winner plays Feb 11 at West Seattle)
- With a win Monday against Ingraham, the Girls will play Wed. vs most likely Seattle Academy, 5:30 p.m. at West Seattle. Girls Bracket Details.
- Feb. 9: Boys Basketball visits Seattle Academy 7 p.m. (loser out of Metro Playoffs, winner faces Franklin on Feb 11)

- In the BHS Gym. Spring Sports parents and guardians are invited to meet team coaches, Athletic Trainer Loka Murphy, Strength & Conditioning Coach Colin Matthiesen, and hear important updates from Athletic Director Eric Ensign. You’ll also get a chance to learn about our work with the Athletic Booster Club and perhaps win a prize in our drawing. Beaver Gear sale too!

New Bleachers! For Fans at the BHS Field
Thanks to the Ballard High School Foundation, with support from the Athletic Booster Club and in cooperation with school administration, for advocating for bleachers at Ballard HS Field, allowing for more viewing and cheering opportunities for Beaver fans. Seattle Public Schools installers recently completed the project. Great teamwork!

Dance Team
The Dance Team will be on the road to Districts (held March 7 at Mt. Si High School. The dancers started the season strong, already earning qualifying scores for their Pom and Lyrical routines. Upcoming events also include the Tahoma High School Competition on Sat, Feb. 14, and the Puyallup High School Competition on Sat, Feb. 28.
Their goal is to compete again at the WIAA State Dance & Drill Championships, held March 27-28 at the Yakima Valley SunDome.

Girls Lacrosse
Registration is OPEN for Ballard Girls Lacrosse – register today! We are gearing up for another great season at the Dam! It’s a no-cut program with both Varsity and JV, welcoming athletes of all experience levels. The spring season runs from February to mid-May, with tryouts starting Feb. 23 and games kicking off March 8, 2026. Scholarships are available. And great news Coach Rachel Moody is back! Registration is now open for Ballard Boys Lacrosse! Register today! Lacrosse is a competitive, fun, no-cut spring sport with both a varsity and JV team, coached for the 4th year by Ray Pryphun.

On December 16, Ballard Unified hosted Lincoln’s Unified squad at the annual Jam the Dam basketball game, a spirited evening celebrating inclusion, teamwork, and school pride.
