If you have any questions, please see Coach Ensign in SE 102 in the Activity Center.

If you’re considering taking classes through the Running Start program, attending an info session is required. You only need to attend one session —all four dates will cover the same information. ASB & Clubs
- Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge gender equality. International Women’s Day is Sunday, March 8. March is Women’s History Month. International Women’s Day has been around for over a hundred years, as have many of the issues still impacting women’s advancement. Since 1911, International Women’s Day belongs to all who care about gender equality. Celebrate women’s achievement. Raise awareness about discrimination. Take action to forge gender equity. Look for more resources on the Ballard ASB Instagram.
- Join me in congratulating the latest State DECA students to qualify for the International Career Development Conference in April. They will join the other qualifiers who were announced on Monday at the event in Atlanta. We will have a meeting next week to talk about details about the trip. Check your emails this weekend for info.
- Scores and rubrics are available in Ms. J’s room, and we will have State T-shirt pick up next week. Please return any business clothes that were borrowed from the lending closet so we can ensure that other students have access to outfits when they need them.

- Ballard Earth Service Corps is starting a new bathroom paper towel composting initiative! If you are in a bathroom with a green bin, we would appreciate it if you made sure all paper towels go in the green bin labeled compost.
- All other garbage needs to go in the black trash bin beside the green one. This program will begin as a pilot in the language pod bathrooms before moving to all school-wide bathrooms. If we go for four weeks without finding any contamination in the green bins, meaning anything other than paper towels, Earth Service Corps will bring donuts to our next club meeting. Thank you for helping us make Ballard more environmentally friendly!
