Announcements
- Football game tonight at Ingraham! The theme is Red Out. Tickets here!
- Are you interested in auditioning for the spring musical, Mamma Mia? Auditions will be held in the first week of Dec. and to help you prepare we will offer free dance workshops with our choreographer in the PAC each Mon. until auditions, starting on Mon., Nov. 10. Come to the PAC after school on the 10 to get some dance training ahead of the musical. All are welcome! We will also have our mandatory informational meeting about musical auditions on Wed, Nov 12 in the PAC at lunch. If you are interested in auditioning, this meeting is required so you can get all the information about auditions as well as pick up your audition packet. If you cannot make it but would like to audition, email Ms. Miller and let her know. We hope to see you there!
- If you have an elevator key from the nurse that you no longer need, please return it to the health center as soon as possible, so it can be checked out to others who need it.
- Attention students! The newest edition of The Talisman, Ballard’s student-run newspaper, is available. Talisman Online too!
- Student ID Cards! Pick up in the Main Office.
- Make-Up Day picture ID cards are still coming and will be distributed once they arrive!
- Winter Athletics Registration is due this coming Monday, November 10th! If you have any questions about FinalForms registration, please see Ms. Nielcen in the main office.
- The DAM Student Store is open most days in the AC. Come by to get snacks, drinks, and Ballard Merch! We take Cash, Debit, and Credit.

ASB Clubs
- If you missed out on DECA Area registration, Ms. J has some extra spots – come see her today in N101 if interested.
- National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive in partnership with Bloodworks NW! The BHS blood drive will be in the Aux gym Friday, Nov. 14. Sign up are open now. You must be at least 16 years old to donate, and if you are under 18, you will need to pick up a permission slip from Mr. Holmgren’s room, S116. To sign up, look for QR codes around the halls or on the National Honor Society Instagram. Be a part of the cause – local students can help local patients.

Athletics & Club Sports
- Congrats to our Ballard Varsity Cross Country teams on a strong showing at Districts last Friday! The Girls’ Varsity team placed 5th at Districts and qualified the entire squad for the State Championships this Saturday. The boys’ varsity team placed 10th overall at Districts, with junior Andrade Whissell-Côté representing the Varsity Boys at State as an individual qualifier. Good luck to all our runners competing at State—run hard, represent Ballard, and don’t forget the victory cry.
- Bowling sign-ups are still open! Next practice is Nov. 13 at Spin Alley, 4:30-5:30.
- Interested in playing girls basketball? Tryouts are November 17 & 18, 4-6 p.m. in the main gym. There will be no cuts! Please complete Final Forms registration if you are interested.

Beaver Gear and Spirit Wear Breakdown
- Athletic Booster Club (ABC) has Beaver Gear and spirit wear (shorts, baseball tee, bleacher seats, plaid flannels, socks, scarf and hats) on the ABC website with Duffle Bags offered at different times of the school year.
- “The DAM” BHS Student Store run by Advanced Marketing Students in the Activity Center (AC) has great spirit items (t-shirts, hoodies, sunglasses, etc.).
- Performing Arts (BPA) spirit merchandise can be found on the BPA Website and offered at different times of the school year.
- Athletics! Check with coaches about specific Athletics/Sports Merchandise
