Tissue Box

NEW! Ballard HS Office & Staff needs tissues! Thanks to our generous community, our tissue stash has lasted us to the middle of March! Any donations of facial tissue are very appreciated! Just drop off in the Main Office. Thank You!

  • ASB Spring Spirit March 30 to April 3, leading up to Spring TOLO on April 4. Check out all the events and themes!
  • If you missed last week’s yearbook preorder deadline, don’t worry – there will be one more round of yearbook preorders during April.
  • Jan. – April: the Ballard HS Teen Health Center, there is unfortunately a temporary interruption of clinic services until April 20, 2026Read more on the email sent from Principal Hunt.

Seniors

  • Last Day to preorder a Senior Yard Sign!
  • Seniors: Graduation Audition forms are now available in the main office! Please drop by to pick up a form if you’re interested in auditioning to speak, perform, or host at graduation. Forms are due by April 22, 2026.
  • Mark Your Calendar!!! April 23: Preordered Cap & Gown delivered during lunch
    • Cap & Gown Orders Due (and other graduation gear, like tassels and stoles)! Physical order packets are available in the main office and the order link is on the BHS website. The counseling center has caps and gowns available to loan out, but does not have tassels or stoles. 
  • SPREE: Seniors – if you would like to participate in this year’s Senior SPREE event, tickets are now on sale! Tickets will be on sale until capacity for the venues is reached.
  • The Class of 2026 Graduation: Follow updates on the Senior and Graduation pages.

ASB & Clubs

  • Are you interested in joining ASB? Election packets can now be found in the Main Office or in your ELA class. Elected position applications are due April 21, and Appointed position applications are due May 1. There is a role for everyone in this class, so definitely check it out!
  • The Ballard HS Red Cross Club is presenting a donation drive for Mary’s Place that will take place until April 10, 2026. Bins will be located near the library and the front office for all donations. Please support this effort by donating any of the following items: hygiene products, such as body wash, deodorant, diapers, and feminine products, new and like-new winter coats and boots, new socks and towels, twin sheets, and blankets. All donations will be gifted to Mary’s Place and given to people in need. Every donation counts!
  • ASB Spring Spirit week March 30 to April 3, leading up to Spring TOLO on April 4. The theme for this week is 2000s movies! Check out all the events and themes!
  • The ASB is excited to announce their second Spring Tolo Dance on April 4 from 7 – 10 p.m. at Pier 66. Dance information on website for students who pre-purchased a ticket by March 27.

Athletics & Club Sports

  • Did you know that BHS has an awesome strength and conditioning program that is open to all students? Anyone can join regardless of experience, and you don’t need to be on a Ballard team to participate. If you have any questions, please see Coach Ensign in SE102 in the Activity Center (during lunch, or before/after school). Spring session hours are: Monday-Friday, 7:00-8:00 a.m. and Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, 4:00-5:00 p.m. and Wednesdays, 2:45-3:45 p.m.

Beaver Gear and Spirit Wear Breakdown

  • Athletic Booster Club (ABC) has Beaver Gear and spirit wear (shorts, baseball tee, bleacher seats, plaid flannels, socks, scarf and hats) on the ABC website with Duffle Bags offered at different times of the school year.
  • The DAM” BHS Student Store run by Advanced Marketing Students in the Activity Center (AC) has great spirit items (t-shirts, hoodies, sunglasses, etc.).
  • Performing Arts (BPA) spirit merchandise can be found on the BPA Website and offered at different times of the school year.
  • Athletics! Check with coaches about specific Athletics/Sports Merchandise
