BHS Families: PTSA Reaching Out for Donations To Support Staff

Thanks to everyone helping make sure the teachers & staff have stamina to make it through a long day, Thursday, October 8 as they stay through the evening for Curriculum Night. With your help the PTSA is organizing lunch for all 150 adults on campus Thursday, October 8 – the night of Curriculum Night where these educators will be working long hours to host families in their classrooms. We have opportunities to help day-of, contribute beverages, fruit or dessert… OR donate money ahead of time and we will do shopping! *BHS PTSA is providing tofu & chicken teriyaki burritos from Pecado Bueno, thanks for your donations to help supplement the main dish! PSAT/SAT Volunteers Needed Oct 5-8

Ballard is seeking SPS-approved parent volunteers to check in students for PSAT/SAT Testing from Oct 5-8. The duties will include helping the approximately 120 students with ID check-in, finding their seats, and maintaining the flow in the Aux Gym. Please check into the main office when you arrive and then head to the Aux gym. Sign up TODAY. 

If you’re not already an approved volunteer, there is still time to get registered. Review the process and then apply. For PSAT/SAT you’ll be a Tier-1 volunteer and invited by Katie Huguenin kwhuguenin@seattleschools.org.
