June 2025 Timeline
New Updates!
- June 9: Yearbook Sales resume until they run out during lunch.
- Yearbooks are $70 with exact cash or check (Ballard High School), credit card in the Office.
- June 9: Senior Finals (Periods 1, 3, 5)
- Regular Bell Schedule

- June 11: Senior Finals Make-Up
- Complete your Graduation Survey in Naviance. This is how we know where to send your final transcripts if you are heading to college. Please see your counselor if you have questions.
- June 12: Check-Out, Fines Due, Laptop Check-In. Last Day for Seniors
- A 1-6 Periods Regular Schedule, complete Senior Check-Out Form
- June 13 AM: Graduation Rehearsal
- Required Rehearsal NEW TIME! 9 a.m. at Ballard HS
- June 13 PM: Graduation Ceremony at Memorial Stadium 8 p.m.
- Cords: Do not purchase your own cords, there are certain cords for specific recognized groups that receive them, wait for further information from ASB & your club or student organization group.
- SPS additional security measures and Main Entrance open time at 7 p.m.
- June 13 PM: Senior SPREE
- Busses will leave from Mercer Street next to McCaw Hall. SPREE details.

Graduation Ceremony Details For June 13, 2025
Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal: NEW TIME: Ballard HS at 9 a.m.
Ballard High School Ceremony: June 13, 2025, 8 p.m.
Location: at Memorial Stadium No Tickets Needed
Ballard HS Performing Arts: Concert Choir, Advanced Chorale, Wind Ensemble and select percussionists performed at graduation.
Ceremony Reminders
- Students need to arrive at Memorial Stadium between 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and will enter the stadium via the Players’ Entrance off Republican St. Don’t be late!
- Students Bring: Gown, Cap, Stole, Tassel, Culturally relevant honorifics, honor cords, medal pins or anything given at the Senior Dinner.
- Cords: Honor cords tie in a knot or in a bow
- Students Do Not Bring: Bags, Backpacks, Water bottles, or Purses.
- Note: Ponchos will be provided by SPS if needed
- Main Entrance at Memorial Stadium will open at 7:00 p.m. per SPS new security measures.
- Attendance is FREE. No tickets are required for the graduation and the event usual lasts 1.5 hour.
- There is no reserved seating
- Please note that parking at Memorial Stadium is very limited and the stadium lot is a public lot for the Seattle Center. We are the SECOND graduation of the evening (after Lincoln) on Friday evening June 13 at 8 p.m., so please have a backup parking plan using one of the area parking structures.
- Families should plan for time to park.
- We kindly ask that each family not take more than 2 Graduation Programs please.
- Stadium seat cushions are a good idea.
- Graduation is outdoors. Wear layers and check the weather
- Graduates will exit on the east side/opposite of the stadium, so families can plan to meet them near the International Fountain. It will be dark soon after the event.
- SPREE Busses leave after Graduation
- NO Air horns or other noise making devices. Balloons and items that might impede others’ view should remain in your vehicle. You will be asked to return them to the vehicle. All bags will be checked by district personnel and guests will be wanded before entering.
- Video/Streaming: The district has not confirmed that the ceremonies will be streamed this year. We will post updates as soon as they are confirmed. Last year they were posted on the district YouTube Channel.

Graduation Photos Rowland Studios
As in the past, Rowland Studio photographers will be at the Ballard Graduation Ceremony and will be taking pictures of the graduates receiving their diplomas and some other candids. Photos from the Ballard HS Graduation Ceremony will be available to view/order on the Rowland website using your graduate’s student ID number as the access code. Photos will be online for families and graduates to view and order within two weeks of graduation.
Families can log on now with Student ID number and you will be given the option to register for email and/or text notifications as soon as photos are available. The Class of 2025 group photo will also be available to view & order with individual graduate photos from the ceremony. If you have any questions, please contact Rowland Studio; info@rowlandphoto.com
Graduations On District YouTube
Video/Streaming: The district has not confirmed that the ceremonies will be streamed this year. We will post updates as soon as they are confirmed. Last year they were posted on the district YouTube Channel.

Diplomas & Transcripts
Transcripts for all Graduates will be sent to the college indicated through the Graduation Survey on Naviance on TBD. Diplomas and Final Transcripts can be picked up in the Ballard HS Main Office starting on TBD.
- Student’s hard copy of the diploma can be pick up from the main office TBD
- We will hold diplomas at Ballard HS for 1 year
- Need ID to pick up.
- If a student is unable to pick up a diploma, only a parent or guardian listed in PowerSchool can pick up their diploma for them.
- Questions: Call the Main Office at 206-252-1000.
Recycle Your Cap & Gown
Remember, you can recycle your cap and gown for future Beavers to use in the Counseling Center.
Cap & Gown Orders National Achiever
National Achiever will bring some Tassel & also the Stoles with the Class of 2025 date to purchase at the mandatory Rehearsal at Ballard HS at 9 A.M. It would be helpful if you purchase online ASAP and they will bring to the rehearsal with your students name.
Place orders online with National Achiever Ordering (Cap, Gown, Tassel, Stole & Diploma Cover). Please Note! The Counseling Center has loaner Caps & Gowns (no tassel or stoles). Seniors would still need to purchase a tassel and stole (if you need assistance reach out to a BHS Counselor). Pre-Purchased Cap and gowns were delivered to the BHS Main Office. Questions?
