BHS Science Course Progression Notes

All 9th graders will be enrolled in Biology A/B or Biotech Biology A/B
Students must complete Chem B/Chem C in order to register for AP Chemistry

*Recommended to have completed Algebra 2A/2B before taking this course
** Counts as a science and/or CTE course

CTE Health Science Pathway

Requires taking 2 courses in the same pathway
- Biotech Biology A/B
- Physiology A/B
- Systems Medicine

CTE Agricultural Pathway

Requires taking 2 courses in the same pathway
- Environmental Horticulture
- AP Environmental Science
- Oceanography

CTE Farm to Table Pathway

Environmental Horticulture
Food Science 1 & 2
