Have a Great Summer Ballard Families!

All School News

• Yearbooks: pick up preordered yearbooks in the main office with student ID. Yearbooks are also still available for purchase while supplies last! $70 with cash/check/card and ID.
• Lost and Found: Any items that aren’t picked up will be donated over the summer!
• Beaver Readers: Please return all library materials as soon as possible!
• July 26 & August 9: Ballard HS Library Summer Hours 10 – noon. Hope to see you there! 
• August 29: 9th Grade Parent/Guardian Orientation (Parent/Guardians ONLY). Please join us at 7 p.m. for a special Orientation Night just for you! The purpose of the evening is to share tips on how you can help your student make a successful transition from middle school to high school. Event is for Parents/Guardians Only.

Summer Assignments For AP Classes

If students requested an AP course, please be aware that some courses include non-required enrichment opportunities available to students over the summer before beginning class in the fall. Please Note: Students are not assured a place in an AP class until they receive their schedule.

• Junior year APLA or Senior year APLit there are assignments posted on the Ballard website and/or your teacher’s Schoology page. Happy summer reading!
• AP Studio Art: Pick your copy of the syllabus and Summer Assignment in the Main Office and posted online soon.
• AP Photography: Pick up the Summer Assignment in the Main Office or posted online soon.

ASB Clubs

• Visit the Club Event page for all Club news, activities, and events and start thinking about the new school year!

Athletics & Club Sports

• Pre-Ordered Duffle Bags Pick Up in the office.
• Fall Registration due August 20

Beaver Gear and Spirit Wear Breakdown

• Athletic Booster Club (ABC) has Beaver Gear and spirit wear (shorts, baseball tee, bleacher seats, plaid flannels, socks, scarf and hats) on the ABC website with Duffle Bags offered at different times of the school year. Refer to the Spirit Wear updates.
• “The DAM” BHS Student Store run by Advanced Marketing Students in the Activity Center (AC) has great spirit items (t-shirts, hoodies, sunglasses, etc.) Updates on Instagram: @thedambhsstudentstore
• Performing Arts (BPA) spirit merchandise can be found on the BPA Website and offered at different times of the school year.
• Athletics! Check with coaches about specific Athletics/Sports Merchandise
