Athletics & Club Sports

  • Are you interested in trying out for Dance Team?  The BHS Dance Team will host auditions for the 2026-2027 school year right after Spring Break! The auditions last from Tuesday, April 21, through Friday, April 24, from 4:30-7:00 p.m. each day in the gym.  Dance technique and routines will be taught on 3 clinic days (Tuesday through Thursday), and the final audition day will be held on Friday.  Dancers will learn material in jazz, lyrical/contemporary, pom, and hip-hop styles.  Prior dance experience is helpful, but it is not required, and all are welcome to audition! Registration on Final Forms and a sports physical are required to audition.  For more information, please scan the QR code on the Dance Team flyers in the halls or visit Coach Bethany in the main office with questions.
  • Did you know that BHS has an awesome strength and conditioning program that is open to all students? Anyone can join regardless of experience, and you don’t need to be on a Ballard team to participate. If you have any questions, please see Coach Ensign in SE102 in the Activity Center (during lunch, or before/after school). Spring session hours are: Monday-Friday, 7:00-8:00 a.m. and Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, 4:00-5:00 p.m. and Wednesdays, 2:45-3:45 p.m.
