Did you know that in 2024, nearly 70% of all drug overdose deaths in the U.S. involved opioids? But the good news is, we can take action and make a difference! We have a very important guest visiting our campus next week! Lynnet Mitchell, a Healthy Schools Coordinator from the district, will be here on December 1, 2, and 4 to talk about opioids, overdose prevention, and how we can protect ourselves and our communities. She will give presentations to health classes, Anatomy & Physiology classes, and ASB & HOSA. She’ll also be in the cafeteria during lunch with fun trivia and prizes, so be sure to stop by and learn more! This is a great opportunity to get informed and take part in an important conversation. We hope to see you there!
