How to Purchase School Photos

Student ID/ASB Activity Card & Fees

What is an Activity Card?

A Student’s Student ID Card (no fees) becomes an ASB/Activity Card when the ASB Fee has been paid and either students get a paid sticker or a paid ASB code on the Student ID Card under the photo.

School pictures are used for the Shingle Yearbook and Student ID cards and if an Activity Card if ASB fee is paid, all students will get their picture taken, no purchase required. If students didn’t get photos taken, they won’t have an ID.

  • School ID/Activity Card – Distributed at school after picture day.
    • All students who tryout/participate in a Ballard athletic team or are in the BPA Marching Band are required to pay an Activity Card Fee on SchoolPay in August.
    • Pay your ASB Fee early and get the ASB Code printed right on your card!

Yearbook Photos

Photos taken from Picture Day and used in the School Shingle Yearbook. Seniors have an option and time window to submit Senior Portraits if interested. Senior Yearbook Photos: Senior Portraits have typically been due in October. If you do not submit a Senior Portrait to the yearbook staff by the due date, they will use your Student ID photo.

Senior Families

Senior Portraits

School Photographers, Rowland Studios, are available to schedule a Senior Portrait, however it is not required that your Senior Portrait photo be taken at their studio. If seniors do not submit a photo to the yearbook staff, they will use the Student ID photo instead. Read more details on the Senior Portrait page.

Senior Grad Ads

Grad Ads are an opportunity for families to submit photos and a personal message for graduating seniors. They include photos of your choice (school appropriate) and a personalized message of your choice for your graduating student, friend, etc. Refer to how to submit your Senior Grad Ad.
