School ID/ASB Cards
Student ID Cards were distributed to students 3rd Period Class. See 3rd Period teachers.
All students will be photographed, no purchase required. Note for Seniors: This picture is for the Student ID Card. Seniors may submit their own Senior Portrait for the School Yearbook or select a photo from the photos taken on a School Picture Day.

Did You Know?
All students Grades 9 – 12 can choose the photo they would like in the Yearbook for the photos that were taken on the Picture Days. You must select your photo online by Oct. 24, 2024.
- Visit the Rowland Studios website to access and view your school photos.
- Enter your access code. If you are unsure of your access code use the School Picture Code Look Up.
- Select your photo
- Select the Change Yearbook Photo button.
- Select the Confirm Selection once you have chosen your picture.
Seniors!
Remember Seniors may also submit a Senior Portrait instead of the photo that was taken on Picture Days. See more details on the Senior page.
Rowland Studio Mini Senior Session
During your mini-senior session with Rowland Studio, they will spend 20 minutes outside, capturing a variety of poses around the Ballard campus. The mini-senior sessions are $40 each, due at the time of scheduling. The photos will be uploaded to our ordering site for viewing and purchasing if desired. Included, we will submit the image that you choose to the BHS Yearbook staff for the yearbook as well.
Ordering Photos
All photos can be viewed and ordered online AFTER picture day. *Pictures take time to edit, and it may take a couple of weeks to have them all online. All orders will be mailed directly home. Students receive a paper when they get their photo taken with information to order and select a favorite picture for the yearbook! Parents watch for this completed photo form from your student after they have their school photo taken.

Pictures Will Be Used For
- Student ID/ASB Card: Distributed at school after picture day.
- BHS Yearbook: Smile and look your best!
- Seniors may have a different photo or a Senior Portrait for the yearbook.
- District Records: Must adhere to standards. No hats, sunglasses, etc.
- Your Personal Use: Share with Friends and Family!

Student ID/ASB Card
Student ID Cards were distributed to students 3rd Period Class. See teachers if you did not pick one up yet.
School pictures are used for the BHS Shingle Yearbook and Student ID cards and is an Activity Card if $35.00 ASB fee is paid, all students will get their picture taken, no purchase required. If students didn’t get photos taken, they won’t have an ID.
Note: If the ASB Fee was paid in the first couple weeks of September the ASB Fee code is printed on the Card under the photo. If ASB Fees were paid later in the month or the code is missing students will need to pick up a Paid ASB Sticker to put on their Card.

Senior Portrait Opportunity

Senior Portraits Due Nov. 13, 2025
School Photographers, Rowland Studios, are available to schedule a Senior Portrait, however it is not required that your Senior Portrait photo be taken at their studio. If seniors do not submit a photo to the yearbook staff, they will use the Student ID photo instead.
Senior Grad Ads Due Dec. 1, 2025
Grad Ads are an opportunity for families to submit photos and a personal message for graduating seniors. They include photos of your choice (school appropriate) and a personalized message of your choice for your graduating student, friend, etc.
Yearbook Pre-Sales
The Shingle Yearbook Sales Windows
- Sept. 19 – Oct. 10, 2025: $60 (Closed)
- Jan. 5 – 28, 2026: $65
- April 1 – 29 (excluding Spring Break 4/13-17): $70
Note: After April 2026 students can no longer pre-order a yearbook, and can only then buy a book after June distribution, if any books remain.
Payment Options
- Pay Online: via Parent/Guardians Source/SchoolPay
- Yearbooks will also be sold in the main/fiscal office before school or during lunch and after school with cash, check or Debit/Credit Card to avoid the transaction fee.
- Cash, Check (Ballard High School), Debit, Credit Card
Yearbook sales dates are established in accordance with state tax policies.
SchoolPay Tips to See if You Pre-Purchased a Yearbook!
- Logon to the Parent Source/SchoolPay
- Verify you are on the correct student account
- If the Yearbook option is not displayed on SchoolPay check the payment history to see if already purchased.
- Open the History menu in the upper right portion of your screen
- Select Items Purchased. SchoolPay will provide a search menu
- Select the date range and student, and click the Search button
