Summary: Grade 11 PSAT/NMSQT. October 5 & 6. Must have SPS-issued laptop.
Grade 11 Get PSAT/NMSQT Ready!
- All current 11th Graders are automatically registered and eligible to take the School Day PSAT.
- Students will test in groups in the Aux Gym according to the first letter of their last name unless they are testing with College Board approved accommodations (see schedule below).
Students! Check-in for morning exams is 8:30 – 9:00 a.m. and check-in for afternoon exams is 12:15 – 12:45 p.m. Students arriving after the start of the exam will not be admitted to the exam room. Students testing in the afternoon will be dismissed from their 3rd period class at 11:45 a.m. for lunch.

Important PSAT Testing Details
Student Must Haves For Testing Day
- Photo ID
- Fully charged District-issued laptop (students will not be allowed to test with a personal device)
- Power cord, pencil or pen, and acceptable graphing calculator (There is a graphing calculator built into the digital PSAT exam, but you can bring your own.)
- Students will use College Board’s Bluebook app to take their digital PSAT. The Bluebook app must be installed on their District-issued laptop via the secure testing browser (Username: APBluebook; Password: college). The app can’t be installed when students are logged in under their own username and password.
Students Cannot Be Dismissed Early
- Students cannot be dismissed early from the exam.
- Morning Exams should end by 12:00 p.m. After the test, students are expected to attend their afternoon classes.
- Afternoon Exams should end by 3:40 p.m. and students are expected to attend their morning classes.
Students will automatically be excused for the window of their actual test. Parents/Guardians do not need to call in absences for PSAT testing.
*Students with Approved Accommodations
Students who have College Board-approved accommodations will test on October 6, 2026 for the PSAT in P104, P105 or P106, not in the Aux Gym. Having a current 504, IEP, or IHP does not guarantee accommodation(s) on the PSAT. A separate request for testing accommodation(s) must be made directly to the College Board, either by your case manager if you have an IEP, or your counselor if you have a 504 or IHP.
Make-Up PSAT Exam
There will be a make-up exam opportunity for the PSAT. Date and time to be determined based on need. Make-ups will be limited, so please contact Katie Huguenin; (kwhuguenin@seattleschools.org) if you want to be added to the make-up list.
