During his senior year, James Brammer ’22 and a team of BHS film students produced the sci‑fi film A Storm of Syndicates, shooting at locations all across Washington — from Eastern Washington and Lopez Island to the Georgetown Steamplant. Through their lens, the Digital Filmmaking students transformed their home state into a full sci‑fi world.

With support from the PTSA in 2022, as well as Digital Filmmaking teacher Steven Bradford, the more than 20 BHS students were able to bring this ambitious project to life, and they’re excited to finally share it with the Ballard community.
