CLUE, our fall play, is coming up fast! 

Audition Workshop: Friday, September 5 from 4-5 p.m. in the Black Box. All are welcome to come practice their audition, walk through the space, and meet other folks involved in the theatre program! Even if you aren’t sure if you want to audition, stop by and say hello and get to know the space. Parents are also welcome to stop by during this time to ask any questions about the process or the program. We will have thespian volunteers present who will help you run your audition and talk with you about the Ballard theatre program.

Auditions: Monday, September 8 from 3:45 p.m. – 6 p.m. Pick up an audition packet by Friday, September 5 at 4 p.m. in the Black Box and sign up for a 2-minute audition time slot. Please prepare a monologue from the audition packet for your audition; no need to memorize. Bring your completed audition packet and arrive 5 minutes early for your chosen time slot. Read your audition packet thoroughly to be sure you are prepared.

Callbacks: You will receive an email if you are needed for a callback on Tuesday, September 9. Callbacks will be from 4 – 6:30 p.m. Not all actors cast in the show will be asked for a callback, and not all actors asked for a callback will be cast in the show. Callbacks are just a time for the director to see a little more of your work. You will not need to prepare anything for callbacks. 

The cast list will be posted first thing Wednesday morning, and rehearsal starts that afternoon. Please plan to check the cast list in the morning and arrive in the Black Box for rehearsal from 4 – 6:30 p.m. if you are cast in the show.
