Charlotte’s Web

Official Charlotte's Web poster with Pig and Spider

Step into the barnyard for Ballard High School’s production of Charlotte’s Web! This stage adaptation by Joseph Robinette brings the beloved children’s book by EB White to life. Charlotte’s Web is the story of a child’s love for the animals that live in an unassuming country barn.

The unexpected heroine is the smallest of these, a spider, whose power lies in her message of love and regard for the humblest creatures. Featuring beloved characters like Wilbur, Fern, and Templeton, music composed by Ballard High School students, and hilarious and heartbreaking performances.

It is a story of the hope and wonder that children carry as they learn about the world. The play shows what is possible when we dedicate ourselves to uplifting another. This 70-minute production acts as a reminder of all the good things in life. An ode to all things small and wonderous, join us on the adventure of a lifetime as we follow a little pig’s journey to fame and friendship.
