CNEEB Eligibility Form
Even with Free Breakfast and Lunch for Every SPS Student, all SPS families are encouraged to complete the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit (CNEEB) form. This form replaces the Free and Reduced Priced-Lunch eligibility form. If your student qualifies, there may be additional benefits such as discounts for Athletic fees, Activity fee, College Application Fees, AP Tests, Field Trips, and Running Start books. Complete the application online or return a hard copy to the Ballard HS lunchroom when the school year starts. You must reapply every year. Learn more on the district Culinary Services.

Online Ballard breakfast and lunch menuPaying for Student Meals
Student Meals can be paid for with a credit card online at MySchoolBucks and requires the Student’s ID number to create an account. The Student ID number can be found on The Source. To avoid a transaction fee families can pay cash or write a check to Culinary Services include your student’s name and ID and give to the Kitchen Manager in the Ballard HS Lunchroom.
Cafeteria Keypad Number Meals
When “checking out” in the cafeteria line, students use a meal card or their meal account ID number. Ballard HS students can check with Lan Dang the Lunchroom Manager if they forget their meal account number.

Student Meals at School
Breakfast and lunch will be served at no cost to those students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Additionally, Seattle Public Schools has several schools that will offer free meals (breakfast and lunch) for all students. See a list of schools that will offer free meals for all students.

Free Meals for Students
Your child may qualify for free or reduced-price meals. In all Seattle schools, students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals receive meals at no cost.
You must reapply every year. Qualification is based on household income.
Students who qualify receive additional benefits including reduced fees for the following programs.

- Field Trips
- Advanced Placement Tests
- Running Start Books
- Associated Student Body (ASB) Fees
- Pre-College Exams (PSAT/SAT/ACT)
- College Application Fees
