- Ellie Haller: Grade 12 “Nostalgia”
- Artist Statement: As I’m entering my senior year and this chapter of my life, I’ve found the importance of nostalgia. This piece encapsulates the bliss and adventure of childhood perfectly for me. The use of color and the silhouette highlight the emotion of nostalgia.
- Maya Haynes: Grade 12 “Timeless Movement”
- Artist Statement: My photography seeks to capture a fleeting moment of innocence. Three girls are captured playing tag in traditional Korean garb. By focusing on how motions are captured through the running girls and the falling rain, I invite viewers to appreciate a captured moment in life.
- Ruby Landvoight: Grade 11 “Morning Mystics”
- Artist Statement: My image captures the peace and serenity of quiet mornings on the beach in Meskowin, OR. By focusing on the sun’s highlights between the trees, the viewer’s attention is captured, and the viewer becomes enveloped in the isolated view.
- Callum Martinson: Grade 11 “City in Motion” and “Unknown Grasp”
- Artist Statement “City in Motion“: My photography highlights the movement in the city that never sleeps. Utilizing a long shutter and steady hands I aim to create a flowing image that shows the beautiful moments in everyday life.
- Artist Statement “Unknown Grasp“: My photography highlights the movement in the city that never sleeps. Utilizing a long shutter and steady hands I aim to create a flowing image that shows the beautiful moments in everyday life.
- Alisha Rose McDowell Rauniyar: Grade 11 “Blooming Eyes”
- Artist Statement: My photography focuses on incorporating mixed media into experimental portraiture. Through my range of photos I seek to capture people’s minds for even a moment by incorporating materials in unique ways. I hope my process of hands-on editing techniques brings joy to the viewer.
- Penelope Neireiter: Grade 12 “Truth Women”
- Artist Statement: Through my photography, I see I seek to capture emotion around empowerment and unity. By focusing on an impactful message, body language, and contrast, I aim to evoke a sense of reflection and change around political division by breaking down the confinement of the status quo. This piece was inspired by Misha Gordin
- Lake Neill: Grade 11 “Inner Rage”
- Artist Statement: Through this piece I hoped to capture inner frustration and rage, the universal experience of wanting to scream but being unable to. I aimed to portray what would happen if we just let go and let it all out. I used lighting to create a feeling of isolation and facial expression to convey emotions.
- Henry Peters: Grade 12 “Untitled“
- Jasper Worrall: Grade 11 “Nature Comes Back”
- Artist Statement: Even in a world with constant development and pollution, life finds a way back. It gives me hope. It’s a reminder that life can and will thrive, we just have to change our ways.
