    • Two sessions per day from 9 a.m. – noon and 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m

Players are required to bring athletic shoes that can be used indoors or outdoors to every day of tryouts.

The 2026 Volleyball Tryouts begin on August 24 at 9 a.m., with two sessions per day from 9 a.m. – noon and 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. It is mandatory to attend all tryout & preseason sessions to be considered for the team.

Additionally, this year we have added a required meeting on Sunday, August 23 (the evening before tryouts begin) from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at Ballard. The meeting is required for all players and highly encouraged for at least one parent or family member per player. A Zoom option for parents/families will be available, however in-person attendance is still required for any player trying out. All tryout dates and times are posted in TeamSnap, so please make sure you are signed up there and check regularly for updates.

There will be no cuts on the first day of tryouts unless there are any attitude or effort issues. By the end of the afternoon session on Tuesday (8/25), everyone trying out will be informed whether they have made the Ballard Volleyball team for 2025. **Depending on turnout, some initial cuts may be made after the Tuesday morning session. By the conclusion of the afternoon session on Wednesday (8/26), all players should be sorted into squads for the season.
