Celebrating All Things Ballard Online Auction | Aug. 2 – 18

The Ballard High School Foundation’s summer Celebrating All Things Ballard raises money for Ballard Athletics, Performing Arts, Cheer, and Dance Team. The fundraiser includes an Online Auction Friday, August 2 at 8 a.m. through Sunday, August 18 at 11:59 p.m.

Starting at 8 a.m. Friday, July 5, you can preview the Celebrating All Things Ballard Auction items AND, Register to bid.

Salmon Dinner and Live Auction | Aug. 15

The Salmon Dinner event will include a special limited-item auction, with the always engaging Stephen Kilbreath. There will also be a chance to raise money for the school’s Strength and Conditioning program.

Supporters can also raise the paddle in person, while savoring tasty barbecue salmon at one of Ballard’s iconic waterfront locations, Pacific Fishermen Shipyard at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 15 so get your tickets soon (buy your ticket before Aug 13 or before sold out)!

Dinner tickets are $50/person for dinner/auction; or $75/person for the dinner/auction, preferred VIP seating, $500 El Gaucho/Aqua drawing entry, and bottle of wine (provided at the end of the event upon departure). Ticket sales can be directed to the team and/or program of your choice. Note: You don’t need a ticket to bid online August 2-18!

24th Annual Victor Salvino Golf Classic | Aug. 16

Finally, for recreational and serious golf enthusiasts, the Foundation is hosting its 24th Annual Victor Salvino Golf Classic, teeing off at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 16 at Newcastle Golf Course. Register today. Foursomes can also direct their registration to the team and program of their choice.

Ballard High School Foundation

The Ballard High School Foundation has supported Ballard’s students and staff through program enrichment, scholarships, and fundraisers throughout the year. Founded in 1997 by Executive Director Dick Lee ’61, C. David Hughbanks ’54, and then-Ballard Principal Chuck Chinn, the group includes both proud alumni and community benefactors.

The Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax exempt nonprofit organization, tax ID #91-1811275. Projects funded by the Foundation have included the school’s Greenhouse, the Earl Kelly Performing Arts Center, John Stanford Library, the Orre Nobles Art Collection, athletic supplies, band instruments and supplies for performance groups, and the Henry Bendele Strength Facility. The group also proudly supports the GAINS program, which assists at-risk students on their road to graduation, and the Link peer mentorship program for new Beaver students.
