Spirit Week Dress Up Themes

Theme: Whimsical

Show Your Spirit!

• Monday, Dec. 16: “Mountain Monday” – Mountain gear, flannels, ski gear etc.
• Tuesday, Dec. 17: “Twin Tuesday” – Find a person or people and match.
• Wednesday, Dec. 18: “Warm Woolie Wednesday” – Ugly sweaters, warm / cozy clothing.
• Thursday, Dec. 19: “Tundra Thursday” – Blue and white out.
• Friday, Dec. 20: “Freaky Friday” – Staff dress as your students. Students dress as staff.

Donation Opportunities

• Donations: Throughout the events in the week, ASB will be collecting donations to give to both the Ballard Food Bank and Treehouse Kids.
  • Boxes will be posted by the doors at these events, and we can take items such as warm clothing, non-perishable foods and toys. Food that is needed around the holidays is encouraged such as flour sugar, canned beans, dehydrated mashed potatoes etc.

Spirit Week Events Schedule

• Dec. 12 Jam the Dam at 4:30 p.m. in the BHS Gym!
  • Come cheer on our Unified Team as they take on Lincoln. Theme Blue and White. Sugar and Spoon Food Truck too!
• Monday, Dec. Winter Gram Sales: NOW during lunch. Price is $3.
  • They will be distributed Dec. 18-19 during 3rd period classes. 
• Tuesday, Dec. 17 Winter Band Concert: at 7:30 p.m. in the PAC. Tickets are not required and donations will be taken!
  • Features all of the Jazz Bands, all 3 Concert Band and Solo Work by students.
• Wed, Dec. 18 Winter Movie Night: at 7 p.m. in the BHS Library featuring “Home Alone.”
  • Dress in your comfiest clothes or PJ’s and bring blankets to sit on. We will have free snacks, coloring pages, and will be taking donations at the door. 
• Friday, Dec. 20 Gymnastics Meet: at 7 p.m. in the main gym.
  • The theme is “Winter Wonderland” and anyone who dresses on theme will be entered into a raffle. No tickets required. We will be taking donations at the door. 
• Friday, Dec. 20 ASB Assembly Special Bell Schedule: 
  • Assembly is following 3rd period. We will be playing games, class competitions, and supporting the choir and drumline in performances.

• 1st period: 8:50 – 9:30
• 2nd period: 9:35 – 10:15
• 3rd period: 10:20 – 11:00
• ASSEMBLY: 11:05- 11:45
• 4th period: 11:55-12:35
• Lunch: 12:40-1:10
• 5th period: 1:15 -1:55
• 6th period: 2:00-2:40
