Fall Annual Give – Money for Academics
With your support, we’re already at $21,265 as of the end of last week. We’ve received donations from $20 to $1100 so far, and we encourage everyone to donate to their capacity.
All funding received goes to support academic, enrichment and extracurricular programming for almost 1,800 students. Meeting this goal is critical to closing funding gaps that directly affect our students.
About Our Campaign
Why does BHS have an Annual Give?
The BHS PTSA endeavors to support all staff, teachers, and students and provide things that aren’t supported by the SPS building budget. The Annual Give is straightforward and is one of the ways we raise money to do that! There is no event to attend, nothing to bid on, no tickets to buy.
Where Does the Money Go?
Your donations made it possible for the PTSA Grants Committee to fulfill so many requests! Here are some examples:
- Laptops, utility carts, organizers, paper trimmers, label makers… and more!
- Health & Fitness Equipment
- Replaced 15 year-old laminator for Science classrooms
- Creative Journal supplies for Mr. Bryan’s Lit class
- Purchased 60 scientific & 20 graphing calculators for classroom use
- Bilingual production of Romeo y Juliet for 9th grade Shakespeare study
- Books in World Languages
- Funded large scale Maritime mural on the outside of Portable 201

Our goal is to raise $100,000, to support academic programming for over 1,800 students during the current school year. Meeting this goal is critical to closing the funding gaps that directly affect our kids. Please donate what you can. No amount is too small; all donations are greatly appreciated.
