New 2025-26! Student Library Link Pin Changing

Library Link is a program that provides access to the Seattle Public Library’s electronic resources for SPS students, including Ballard High School. Your student ID gives you access to the Seattle Public Library’s vast collection of information resources. For more information, visit the Library Link homepage.

The Library Link PINs for students are changing for 2025-26. They are no longer MM/DD. Now they are the last four digits of the student ID. Log onto Library Link.

All Seattle Public Schools students can create a Library card number with their student ID number.

• The Library Link number is 990000 (four zeroes) followed by the 7-digit Student ID number to create a 13-digit number.
• The student PIN is the last 4 digits of the Library Link account number.

Every student has a SPL Library Link access for electronic resources including e-Books, audiobook downloads, student research databases and online search tools, read digital magazines using Flipster, comics, music downloads and movies. More info on the SPL website.
