    BHS Scholarship Bulletin Opportunities

    New! P.E.O. CHAPTER G SCHOLARSHIP |This scholarship is offered to high school women graduates. The amount of this scholarship varies from a minimum of $1000.00 - $2500. The fully completed application form with requested attachments must be returned to the P.E.O. Chapter G Scholarship Chairman by May 1, 2020. 


    The Ballard 19 Scholarship | This scholarship is to remember the nineteen men from Ballard High School who died serving in Vietnam. A $1000 award to any graduating senior at Ballard High School for college or accredited trade school who meet the criteria listed on the application. View or download an application.     Ballard High School is offering a new scholarship in honor of fallen Marine Daniel Chavez who graduated from Ballard High School in 2003. View or download an application. Email your application to Carol Bristol at chbristol@seattleschools.org. The due date is extended to April 29, 2020. 

    Opportunity Extended!  The Golden Beavers Scholarship is a one-time grant given by BHS alumni graduates of 50 or more years. The Golden Beavers are offering scholarships for students going to 4 year, 2 year, and technical colleges/universities.     Sub Pop Records Scholarship is extremely proud to announce the return (for its 14th year) of The Sub Pop "Loser" Scholarship. Visit the Sub Pop Records site for more information on scholarships offering a grand total of $15,000 in college scholarship money to three eligible high school seniors. Deadline is March 19, 2020.


    University Lions Foundation Application for $1,000 tuition scholarship. Must be a full time student at Ballard High School. Deadline is May 11, 2020. 


    The Freestone Future Leaders Scholarship | The Freestone Future Leaders Scholarship, offered by Freestone Capital, is open to all graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate college students enrolled full-time in an accredited two- or four-year technical college or university. Each year, five students will be awarded with a $5,000 tuition reimbursement, totaling $100,000 in financial support for 20 students over four years. Application deadline: April 1.     Seattle Association of Educational Office Professionals (SAEOP) Scholarship | Please view the attached application for the annual SAEOP Scholarship. This year they are continuing the tradition of awarding one (1) One thousand-dollar ($1000) scholarship and (1) Five hundred-dollar scholarship. They are seeking all interested and qualified SPS graduating senior students (class of 2020) who wish to continue their education at a 2-year, 4-year college or vocational school. Please keep in mind throughout the application process that this is not a need-based scholarship. The deadline for returning applications is April 3, 2020.


    Leif Erikson Lodge Scholarships Available | Families Must Be Members of the Lodge | Please visit the Leif Erikson Lodge website to view the entire list of Scholarships available. All applications, supporting documents, and recommendations must be received by March 30, 2020, at Leif Erikson Lodge.
