    Angels Wings Thai Scholarship

    Angels Wings Thai Foundation Scholarship | Applicants must be of Thai ancestry meeting the following criteria: 1) have one Thai parent 2) graduating high school senior 3) entering a college/univ/trade school for 2020 -21 school year 4) academic excellence 3.0 GPA or better 5) demonstrate advocacy activities for their Thai heritage 6) written essay required.     Carkeek Scholarships are now open!

    Carkeek Scholarships are available to graduating seniors of SPS who will be attending publicly funded institutions of higher learning within the State of WA, including community and technical colleges. Scholarship awards (numbers vary each year) are based on high school scholastic achievement, financial need of the student, and a recommendation from teachers or community leaders as to the student’s participation in school and outside activities.  The Carkeek Scholarships has been awarding scholarships to graduates of Seattle Public Schools since the early 1950’s. Please download the attached application. The completed application must be postmarked or faxed by June 10, 2020 (please do not e-mail any applications).

    Kellen “Bobo” Jones ’08 Memorial Education Grant

    Kellen "Bobo"Jones '08 Memorial Education Grant Attention Student Athletes – Do the below attributes describe you?

    • Respects teammates, coaches and fellow athletes

    • Beaver Pride
    • Love for the Ballard Community
    • Positive attitude

    If so, consider applying for the Kellen Jones Educational Grant by the deadline of June 1!

    A $500 grant (per recipient) will be awarded to one male and one female BHS student athlete in their senior year that exhibit the characteristics and attributes that made Kellen Jones (2008 BHS Grad) a successful athlete, teammate and Ballard Beaver.
