Seawolves Game Ticket Discounts
Families can experience the thrill of professional rugby with discounted tickets using our special PTSA Fundraiser Gala discount link. In addition, the BHS Marching Band will be performing at the Seattle Seawolves professional rugby match on Friday, May 3!
This offer includes all upcoming games, including the May 3 College Night game with the halftime band performance. Shout out to BHS Alum and Seawolves Manager of Business Operations, Payton Lawson ’17 for the team’s Gala donation and this special promotion!
Save the Date! Spring Athletic Booster Club Trivia Night May 29
Save the date for our next Trivia Night fundraiser Wednesday, May 29 at the Ballard Elks Club (6411 Seaview Ave. N.W.). Doors open at 6 p.m.; trivia starts at 7 p.m. Gather your friends and family in teams of six for a fun evening testing team trivia skill! Also, the coaches want to regain their position as Trivia Night Champs!
Look for registration details coming soon! Your registration fee is a donation to the Athletic Booster Club to further our mission to support and promote quality athletics at Ballard High School. Baseball
The team enjoyed three wins at Whitman Middle School Field, topping Ingraham 6-0 Monday; Lincoln 2-1 Wednesday; and Lakeside 4-2 Friday. The Beavers host O’Dea on Monday, April 8 at 4 p.m., back at Whitman MS field, before they travel to Meadowbrook to face Nathan Hale on Wednesday, April 10 at 4 p.m.

Boys Soccer
Boys Soccer beat Chief Sealth 2-0 Tuesday, while dropping a 5-1 game to Garfield Friday. They look to avenge the loss against the Bulldogs on Monday, April 15 at 4:30 p.m. at BHS. Club Sports: Girls Ultimate Frisbee, Lacrosse
Club Sports: Boys Lacrosse, Girls Lacrosse, Ultimate Frisbee BUF, and also Ballard Unified Basketball (a partnership between Ballard High School and Special Olympics of WA.) are a valuable part of Ballard HS but are not WA Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) sanctioned sports. Team funding comes from players, families, and donors, instead of SPS and WIAA. Scholarships are available. Club sports signups are not via FinalForms, but on Team Websites.
Club Sport: Girls Ultimate Frisbee
Gx Ultimate Frisbee faces Banklin on Tuesday, April 16 at 5:30 p.m. at Van Asselt Playfield and host Garfield on Wednesday, April 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Ballard HS.
The Ballard Gx Ultimate Frisbee team is open to all girls that want to participate in the Spring Ultimate league. The season runs through May with practices and games occurring during the school week after school. Everyone is welcome and no prior experience is necessary. Find out more the BUF website.

The undefeated Girls Lacrosse team beat Shoreline 19-8 Thursday at home. After break, they’ll have two on the road: Monday, April 15 at 7 p.m. at Squalicum High School; and Thursday, April 18 at 5:30 p.m. at Overlake High School.

BHS Dance Team Auditions April 23-26
- Tuesday, April 23 through Friday, April 26
- 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. each day.
All current 8-11 graders are eligible to audition! The audition consists of 3 clinic days (Tuesday – Thursday) and the final audition day on Friday. Dancers will learn jazz, lyrical, pom, and hip-hop material. No prior dance experience is required!
A sports physical and registration on Final Forms is required. (Please choose “Dance” as your sport in Final Forms for the 2024-2025 school year.) For more information on Final Forms registration, please visit the BHS website.

- Athletic Booster Club (ABC) has Beaver Gear and spirit wear (shorts, baseball tee, bleacher seats, plaid flannels, socks, scarf and hats) on the ABC website with Duffle Bags offered at different times of the school year.
