100% of us are in relationships, and we often forget that the skills we need to have healthy romantic relationships are learned early through our friendships. We will share several social emotional learning-infused resources for broaching these topics, as well strategies for having difficult conversations with your teens.

The One Love Foundation is a national leader in relationship health education. Join us to learn how you can continue the conversation at home and be part of the healthy relationships revolution!

  • This presentation aligns with the teacher training being done at BHS to support students and teachers in learning more about healthy romantic relationships
  • Learn what makes a relationship healthy or not, and how to address unhealthy relationships with your kids
  • Learn about what consent looks like today
  • We will share several social emotional learning-infused resources for broaching these topics, as well strategies for having difficult conversations with your teens

One Love Foundation

This presentation is done by the One Love Foundation, a national leader in relationship health education. We were introduced to One Love from the work they are doing right now at Ballard High School to train teachers. We were impressed with the curriculum and the relevance to the struggles our children are facing today both in friendships, and in exploring or observing romantic relationships at their peer level.

This presentation is targeted to parents, but is appropriate for students as well.

If you’d like to support the work One Love is doing, you can donate now. Their organization is 100% funded through donations.
