    In addition to becoming a BHS PTSA Member, volunteering is a great way to support your student, don't forget to sign up to be a BHS Volunteer! See below for the application process.     Non SPS Adults Not Permitted in School Buildings

    The district is following the recommendations from DOH and Public Health-Seattle & King County to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 in schools. ~ Volunteers are NOT permitted in schools, both during and outside of school hours. ~ Parents/family members/caregivers can be on-site outside to pick-up/drop-off students.

    Parents/Guardians remote library help is always needed. If you are interested in helping with covering books or other remote projects please contact Sarah Visser

    SPS Volunteer Online Process 

    All volunteers and chaperones must complete the following online paperwork prior to volunteering directly with students. Please complete your application at least (2) weeks before you plan to volunteer.

    Please Note: If you have not lived in WA State for the past (3) years you will need to complete a national background check. Visit the SPS Volunteer Background Checks page for more details. 

    Returning Volunteers

    If you’ve signed up to be a volunteer before, you can check your status at the SPS Volunteer Portal.
