    School Day SAT Testing | Wednesday, March 4, 2020

    The SAT with essay will be offered at no charge to all BHS Juniors by the Seattle School District on March 4, 2020.

    The SAT will be given to all 11th graders at Ballard High School on Wednesday, March 4th. There is no charge for the test and all students are automatically registered. Students must check in from 8:00am-8:30am in the Commons. The test will start promptly at 8:45am and end at approximately 2:00pm. Students that arrive late will not be admitted and students cannot leave the testing environment until all students are dismissed. Test takers will be dismissed for the remainder of the day after they are released from the SAT.

    The SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) focuses on the knowledge and skills that the best evidence indicates are essential for college and career readiness and success. This test is composed of four sections: Math, Reading, Writing and Language, and Essay.

    It is highly recommended for students to look over the SAT Student Guide to get familiarized with the test sections and format. Please click here to access the SAT Student Guide. Hard copies will be provided to 11th grade LA classes or can be picked up in the counseling office the week of February 21st.

    Testing Locations
    • Junior students with College Board Accommodations in the Counseling Center
    • All other 11th Graders in Main Gym
    Students Should Bring
    • #2 Pencils
    • Scientific or Graphing Calculator
    • Snacks & Water (since test goes through Lunch)
    • ID (School ID is fine)
    Students Should Not Bring
    • Cell Phone
    • Backpacks
    • Personal Belongings
