What is Running Start?
Running Start is a program that allows 11th and 12th grade students enrolled in a WA State public high school to take college courses at Washington’s 34 community and technical colleges.
Students earn both high school and college credits for these courses.
Running Start is part of your public education and tuition is free. Students are responsible for additional fees, books and transportation.
If you are interested in signing up for Running Start next year and want to learn more it is important that you attend one of the upcoming Ballard HS Counselors Running Start Information sessions.
Running Start Information Sessions will be held at lunch on the following Wednesdays, in room SW205
- April 6 at lunch from 12:10pm – 12:40pm
- April 6 at 7pm on Teams. Families are welcome to join as well!
