    A Memorial Bench for Viv

Viv wanted a bench as her memorial. The Ballard High School Foundation is taking up a collection to have the bench installed at the high school. Isn’t this fitting? The bench will be a place where Viv can be remembered, the way she touched our lives, the smiles, the giggles, the comfort, and the secrets she shared with so many. It will be installed in a place where she discussed future plans with colleagues. It is where many heard her enthusiasm for that crack of a bat, a winning field goal, or a last-minute tie breaking kick. Stadium fans shared their excitement with Viv and she would relive those moments at Ballard.

Donations for the bench can be made now through July 31, 2019. Friends of Vivian can make donations two ways:

"I am the Administrative Secretary at Ballard High School. I love my job! I work with a wonderful staff, have caring parents and a wonderful students. We have a student body of 1749 with a staff of 140. I work with 5 other secretaries taking care of Ballard HS. Making everyone feel welcome when they enter Ballard HS is the most important task I do every day. I feel it is important that no matter what the issue is, if you give your customer time and let them feel value, that I can help assist them with the answers they are seeking.”  ~ Vivian Belcher
