    Ballard High School Mock Election

The Ballard HS Mock Election project is being driven by a motivated group of civic-minded students. They have created a program for BHS that will allow all students the opportunity to learn about the ballot measures and some of the candidate races of this election.

The Mock Election Committee is hosting a mock election on Election Day Tuesday November 5. Mock Election will be on Ballot Measures I-976 and Ref. 88/I-1000, District 6 - City Council, School Board District 1 and Advisory votes on Vote 23 on Vapor Products and Advisory Vote 27 on Petroleum Products.

All students and parents/guardians are encouraged to vote in the Mock Election any time before 3:45p.m. on Nov 5. Students can vote via phone camera using a QR code, or the online Ballard Mock Election Ballot and can drop off a paper ballot at the election booth in the Main Foyer outside the BHS Office after they vote and can collect an "I Voted" sticker. Results will be posted on Friday.

Parents/Guardians are encouraged to ask students their opinions and be willing to have a conversation about what they are learning about the issues and candidates.
