    Welcome to Ballard High School 

    Ballard High School has a strong sense of community and is well supported by an outstanding staff and a robust PTSA.  BHS boasts a number of unique and award-winning programs including Athletics and numerous Clubs such as FIRST Robotics (World Winner 2017), Link Crew and the Talisman, our student run newspaper.  We also feature award winning programs including Performing Arts, the Biotech Academy, Academy of Finance, Maritime Academy, Project Lead the Way, Digital Filmmaking (Awards & Honors), the Greenhouse and Proyecto Saber.

    The Ballard High School PTSA, is an educational enrichment and advocacy group that works to cultivate an excellent educational environment for all Ballard High Students. We do this through listening to our students, families and teachers to understand and advocate for their needs in order to provide the best education possible for our students.     BHS Clubs and Organizations.  We at Ballard High School feel that participation in student-oriented activities is a vital part of a student’s education. Therefore, a wide range of activities is provided.     The Ballard Performing Arts  (BPA), Music and Drama Department is lauded throughout the Northwest and beyond for its high level of musical and performance excellence and supported by the parent run Booster Club. Ballard HS provides one of the most complete high school music programs in Seattle - offering instruction in voice, wind and string instruments spanning jazz to classical. The Drama Program consistently presents best-in-class plays and musicals.

    The Ballard High School Athletic Booster Club (BHSABC) is a group of parents and staff that supports the student-athletes and athletic programs at Ballard High School. We support athletic programs by providing administrative, communication, and bookkeeping services; we promote BHS sporting event attendance, school spirit, wear Beaver Gear and camaraderie for all Beavers; and we advocate for BHS Athletics in the surrounding community.  For a complete listing and information on the Ballard Athletic Departments visit the Athletics Overview page.

    The Ballard High School Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization with a mission to support the students, faculty and administration of Ballard High School and enrich the school's programs and activities so that Ballard High School will continue to be a world-class learning center for the benefit of the Seattle Community.
